IBPS Common Written Examination for Recruitment of Clerks through a Common Written Examination in 19 Public sector banks of India:

The Biggest News for all those who are aspiring for a career in Banking Industry came on 23rd August 2011, when IBPS has issued its second Notification of year for the recruitment of Clerks in 19 Public Sector Banks through a Common Written Exam that is tentatively scheduled to held on 27th November 2011.Earlier on 6th July 2011,IBPS has issue the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers and Management Trainees.

Any candidate who desires to join any of the 19 Public Sector banks will necessarily have to appear in the Common Written Exam for Clerks.So if you are one of those interested candidates then you must read this complete article and advertisement given at the end of this article.

Clerical Selection Procedure through IBPS Common Written Exam 2011

  • Candidates will have to read this complete Advertisement and then fill the Online Application Form for Clerks
  • Candidates will then have to appear for Common Written Exam for Clerks on 27th November 2011
  • After a few months IBPS will declare the results of Common written Exam and subsequently issue the Scorecard to all the candidates
  • After the results are declared by IBPS the individual banks will invite applications for recruitment in Clerical cadre.It is worth mentioning here that each bank has its own eligibility criteria and merely fulfilling the IBPS CWE criteria does not guarantee that you are eligible for any or each the banks mentioned above
  • So if the candidates meet the Eligibility criteria  (Like Educational Qualifications,Age limit and CWE Score ) of individual banks,then they can apply for clerical post in the bank.Subsequently the bank will conduct Interview ,Group Discussion etc for final Selection

Job Title: Clerical Cadre

Nationality: India (For other Countries refer Advertisement)

Age Limit : Min:18 years and Max: 28 years (Age Relaxations as per rules)

Educational Qualifications:

Pass with 60 % marks in Class 10th under (10+2+3) pattern or equivalent Qualification
OR
Pass with 50% marks in Class 12th (HSC) or equivalent qualification
OR
Graduate Degree in any discipline from any recognized University of India

Application fees: An application fees of Rs 50 (for ) and Rs 350/-(General) will have to be paid either by Online or by Offline mode
